We make arrangements for visiting professors and other academic professionals and encourage relationship building among domestic and international educators. As part of this effort, we recruit highly skilled and respected professors from around the world to participate and even partner with King Khalid University. Our goal is to help our professors advance the body of knowledge in their disciplines, raise the status of the university, and help achieve the academic strategy policies set forth in Vision 2030 and enumerated in the Vision Realization Programs (VRPs). These worthy goals require a high-level of administrative competence and oversight including:
- Reviewing and evaluating requests from potential visiting professors;
- Checking the credentials of potential visiting professors;
- Ensuring that potential visiting professors are eligible to enter into the Kingdom;
- Filing request applications with the Ministry of Education;
- Conducting routine follow-up communications with internal and external stakeholders;
- Processing approvals and or requests for further information;
- Interfacing with the appropriate government agencies for the issuance of visas Providing post-event follow-up and feedback analysis;
- Facilitating continued communications and cooperation among program or event participants.
